Showcased at The Reef in Downtown Los Angeles, this collection focused its attention onto human sexuality and binary oppositions regarding speculative foundations of gender. Despite the collection being showcased as a menswear collection, the garments on the runway featured feminine details such as hand pleated chiffon ruffles, lace, body conturing shapes and dresses. Arms were hand painted in Japanese ink to provide commentary of “queerness as an illness”.
